Henley Town Hall, Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire (listed Grade 2*)

The 2-phased project included the external and internal refurbishment of this Grade 2* listed building, originally designed by the architect Henry Hare. Internally the works involved inserting a new lift and making best use of redundant spaces; converting these to new council office space. Externally, works included cleaning and re-pointing of brick and stonework, and new lead roofing.

 

Reading Town Hall, Berkshire (listed Grade 2)

This large project, phased over 10 years, included the complete refurbishment of this extensive mainly Victorian Gothic civic building. a large section of the building was designed by Alfred Waterhouse, architect of the London's Natural History Museum. Works included bringing up to date parts of the building which had been untouched since the Second World War. Extensively involved with all phases, Andrew lead the phase relating to the conversion to contemporary museum and exhibition spaces, now used to house Reading Museum and Art Gallery.

 

Burlington Arcade, London (listed grade 2)

Works to three shop units requiring sensitive contemporary design solutions which complemented and respected the Grade 2 listed fabric.
