Rhian Woods

Rhian Woods qualified as an Architect with the RIBA in 1994, and subsequently worked with London practices David Morley Architects and Norman + Dawbarn Ltd.

Whilst with Norman + Dawbarn she acted as the second consultant for the £60 million prestigious City Quay residential development at St Katharine Dock, London, for Taylor Woodrow Property. She has subsequently worked with many other housing developers of all sizes, mostly on sites within Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Other areas of expertise include schools and higher education clients. With David Morley Architects, and as the Project Architect of Oxford’s Oriel College new residential building and a new junior boarding house for Bryanston School in Dorset, she designed leading edge contemporary buildings providing state-of-the-art accommodation on very tight budgets. Oriel College’s new residence was described by Oxford City planners as a “Landmark building”.

Rhian was the Project Architect for the eight new shooting ranges for Clay Pigeon disciplines for the National Rifle Association at Bisley. This was a highly technical project constructed for the 2002 Commonwealth Games and funded by Sport England.

Andy Francis

After qualifying as a Building Surveyor, Andy Francis developed his career with Architects Design Partnership (ADP).

He has extensive experience and a particular interest in architectural conservation, with local building traditions. He has led projects which include the restoration and refurbishment of listed prestigious buildings, including Henley Town Hall and Reading Town Hall. Other projects include new residential accommodation buildings for Merton College, Oxford, which were designed to reflect the local vernacular style surrounding a sensitive site.

Andy has acted as lead consultant for large refurbishment programmes and complex feasibility studies in many different sectors. He has also worked with property developers in the conversion and refurbishment of a variety of buildings to create new housing.

Within the commercial sector, Andy led the refurbishment project of urban office and retail space, and was involved in the construction of new build commercial buildings on the Oxford Science Park.
